Bicycle Post Trail

Trail work day this SATURDAY, Jan 7th

If we're going to be tearing apart the lumber at the trailhead for parts, we'll need some hammers, sledge hammers. A wheelbarrow might come in handy, and having several portable drills is good too. I only have 2 T25 Torx bits, so if you bring a drill, make sure you have that bit.

The first Saturday of the month is this coming weekend and so it is time to get out and do some trail maintenance!!  Several bridges on the BC and 121 Loops need to be repaired or rebuilt and we will focus on the Worm (and possibly one other) this coming weekend.  We also have a couple trees that are dropping down near the Playground and now need to be cut out.

We will meet at the trail head on Saturday, January 7th at 9AM (to try to let it warm up some).  With a good group we can get all this done in about 3 hours.  We could use one extra chain saw and possibly another good cordless drill.  Otherwise no special tools are needed.  Please respond if you can come and help!

Derek, glad you can make it.  So was the prospect of some "cut rate hacks" messing with your baby just too much to handle?? ;)

For those of you who don't know, Derek built many of the coolest wooden features out at the trail... including the Worm.  Come out on Saturday and meet the legend!!!
