Man...I agree, it's really unfortunate but glad it wasn't worse.

I was with her at an exercise class tonight and she was very positive about
the situation. As any parent would be, there is always concern but she
thanked me for asking about Travis. She said he was going about 25 miles an
hour when the accident happened. He is very fortunate that nothing worse
happened.

Wow, well thanks for getting this information Paul (and Pam!). Still really
sorry to hear this about Travis, but also glad that things were not worse
for him. If anyone hears any more please keep us updated and if anyone
speaks to the Livermon's let them know that we are rooting for Travis.

_____

Pam spoke with the receptionist at Hoffman Haus this morning. The accident
was friday. He was riding by himself. Someone backed out of their driveway
and didn't see him. I guess he ran into the car. He suffered bad injuries to
his mouth and chin, which were described as hamburger. I think he lost some
teeth. He was in PCMH at least overnight but is home now. I understand he
had some 70 stitches and will need some additional cosmetic surgery
eventually. But he's healing and will resume work next week. The thankful
news is that he didn't have any head trauma or damage to his neck. Thank
goodness for a good helmet!
