Just come on Sunday morning before the ride starts and sign the forms then. Registering late or on site means that we will not have a T-Shirt for her (or other late people) but the funds will still help with organ donation. Of course, if she is a member of ECVelo some of the forms are already done ;)

Also be aware that anyone registered for the ride will get 15% off of food purchased at Winslow's on Sunday. So consider coming back after the ride to socialize, eat, drink, watch a game etc. with the rest of us ;)

See you there on Sunday

Steven

I have a friend who's schedule has just opened up. I was going to send her a link to register but see that the registration closed yesterday. How can I get her registered?

Thanks
Paul,
I plan to have it done before sunset on Sunday. I am not sure what day yet. Where would you recommend I purchase the paint? What color works best, bright orange or yellow?

Thanks,

Any thoughts on marking the course? I asked Greg Jarrel if he could help (he did part of the course last year) and told him to get in touch with you if he can help out. So that way the two of you can coordinate efforts. Thanks

Paul
Russell,

Thanks so much.. It does help to have a driver ,but it's possible to do alone. Usually we put a mark around 100 yards before the intersection, one at the intersection, and one going out of the intersection. The mark we have used is a circle with a line through it indicating the direction to follow at the intersection. We have put marks at some intersections when the direction is straight, only because there is the possibility of confusion.

When I drove the course this weekend, I noticed that many of the marks from last year were still there. Let me go out there again tomorrow and I'll let you know what colors apply to which course. If you want me to do either the 30 miler, or the 40 mile century extension I can do that.

I'll get back to you about colors.

Paul

The course routes are posted on the ecvelo web sites ( or they will be shortly). In the past i have used white, orange and green marking paint. I don't remember which is which , but I can find out and tell you. The 60 and 100 mile courses overlap, with an extra 40 mile loop out off Robersonville yo make up the 100 miles. If it would help you and I could split it up. Let me know if you can help with this and then we can figure out how to make it work

Paul,
I will mark the course. It would be the first time I have marked a course so any tips would be great. It should be easy since we are using the same routes. I know not to mark to close to the intersections. I am sure it will be easier to have a driver and a person marking.

Anyone want to tag along and help, maybe some who is riding the event and can't volunteer the day of the CCC?

Thanks,
