Ride 6/8/13 morning
Author Last Post
I second the "glad you had a good ride"! Thanks for any attempt to tame the growth out at the trail. Tis the season...

Ken, Glad you had a good ride.  We do have a trail cleanup day planned but not for a few weeks (June 30th).  I am sure it can use all the TLC people have time to give so anyone should feel free to cut thorns ;).  I often ride with a set of clippers to get the really bad ones that I pass by...

Ten miles to the tee - however, really hot and humid kept me wayyy off pace. my recommendation to those riding before i get back: bring your clippers - really rough going on one stretch of the outer limits through the thorns. i tried to mash them down but they'll probably rise up again. cleared three logs off the path (feeble attempt to disguise my really poor performance with random acts of weakness). thanks again to all who do keep this trail going. i appreciate having this outlet when coming to town.

Looking for 10 mile riding companion. typically i ave 9 mph but may be slightly off tomorrow morning. eta 0800 ± 30m.
